Camino de Santiago 2026 Fundraiser x

One of the things that I thank God for within my prayers, more often than not, is the roof over my head. That security and safety is something many of us often take for granted. The reality is, however, that life unexpectedly happens to people. Some people are left without a roof over their heads, and face exposure to extreme weather, uncertainty, a lack of safety, judgement and often violence.

The Archer Project works tirelessly to provide life changing support for people experiencing homelessness in Sheffield. Half of funds raised for this pilgrimage walk will go to The Archer Project.

The other half, will go to The Choir With No Name. One of my favourite ways to de-stress is singing my heart out (pretty terribly) in the car to my favourite songs. For many of us, music is a source of joy, community and hope. There’s a lot to be said for a creative outlet.

The Choir With No Name runs choirs and builds joyful singing communities with people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation, around the UK.

In March 2026, I will be taking part in a 100km walk along the final portion of the Camino de Santiago, with a wonderful group of people, in the name of both of these causes. I’ve been blessed with incredible friends and a community that have supported both my faith, and my penchant for charity fundraisers. All contributions, however big or small, are gratefully received, as I combine the two facets of my life embarking on this incredible journey, for these two amazing organisations.
