Carly North is raising money for Moulsecoomb Forest Garden and Wildlife Project
So I have finally taken the plunge!
The last few years I have been caring for my grandparents, after my Nan died the boxing day before last and my grandfather this December, I decided that I needed to do something epic for myself. I have decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro Africa's highest freestanding mountain. I am absolutely petrified and am already feeling far less fit than I did the day before booking it!
Apart from sponsorship any help with motivation to get out and train would be muchly appreciated. Especially if it means a walk with a pub lunch at the other end!
FULL DISCLOSURE: I do get paid to work there, but, I believe that it is one of the most worthwhile charities that I have had the pleasure to come across. If I could afford to work there for free I would.
The project supports kids that are excluded (or likely to be excluded) from school, people with learning disabilities and volunteers. We garden and cook together. Everyone is equal, there's love and acceptance and its just a really amazing place that is struggling to find enough money to keep afloat. So please shake the change out of your pockets and donate what you can afford - every penny I raise will be going to the project
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Moulsecoomb Forest Garden and Wildlife Project.
