Catapin is raising money for EMERGE 3RS
My story
It is my 30th Birthday this year and as I have everything I need I am asking friends and family to sponsor me in this event rather than getting me a gift.
The event is an exhilarating 250m zip slide across the Manchester Ship Canal, launched 30 metres above the ground from the top of the 'Air Shard' Imperial War Museum North across to the Lowry. It is in aid of FareShare Northwest, our regional food redistribution programme which stops fresh food going to the landfill. Since 2008 they have diverted enough surplus "in date" food to provide over 1.5 MILLION MEALS to vulnerable people in the North West. (emergemanchester.co.uk/fareshare.html)
