The Chester Triple Series (10k, half-marathon and metric marathon)

I started my running journey at the start of 2024. From being barely able to run 100 metres, I took part in my first 10km run at Chester Zoo at the end of last year completing it in 48 minutes 26 seconds.

This year, I am taking part in the Chester Triple which consists of a 10km, half-marathon and metric marathon over the year. The first event is the 10km run on Sunday 9th March which I'm hoping to beat my previous time. For the remainder, I'm simply hoping I cross the finish line.

As I work through this journey, I want to support Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charitable Fund and help renew much needed funding for their Community Complementary Therapy Service. This vital service, initially launched as a trial last year, offers a range of complementary therapies to individuals at the end of their lives, being cared for by our District Nursing Team in their own homes. To date, it has supported almost 100 people and their loved ones, significantly reducing their anxiety, stress, and pain during the most challenging times.

So follow along through my journey to the metric marathon, give generously and hopefully, there may be a full marathon in my future for 2026!
