Clair & Kayleigh’s Skydive

Nearly 26 years ago my brother Bradley was born with a rare genetic skin condition called Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

EB causes the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch – it’s often described as living with skin as fragile as a butterfly’s wing. There’s no cure, and even in its milder forms, like Brad’s, it means daily pain, dressings, and constant care.

That’s why me and my mum are fundraising for DEBRA, the national charity supporting people living with EB. DEBRA funds vital research to find effective treatments and a cure, and provides life-changing care and support to families like ours who live with EB every day.

Over the years, our family has raised money in lots of ways. This year, for my 21st birthday present, I have the opportunity to do something unforgettable! My mum and I are taking on our biggest challenge yet – a 15,000ft skydive on Monday 27th October 2025 with GoSkydive in Salisbury!

We’re jumping to raise as much as we can for DEBRA and to help make a difference for families living with EB now, and in the future.
