My story
So many lives are impacted by child sexual abuse, which is preventable with the right knowledge. I am raising funds for the Lucy Faithfull Foundation to increase awareness and support them in their work in a space which is still very controversial but which needs to be destigmatised in order for progress to be made.

Beinn Eich and Doune Hill circuit - over 10 miles on the highest of the Luss hill range with steep inclines. Visibility was poor for most of the hike and the weather was cold and wet. These hills are not on my 'favourites' list! Maybe if the weather had been better it would have been a nicer experience.

9.3 mile evening hike and long town walk. Overtoun Estate through Dumbarton loop. What a lovely evening it turned out to be!

A 16 mile hike around Gallanach, Oban and Ganavan. It was a pretty warm day with not much cloud cover. Oban was burgeoning with people out to enjoy the sunshine and warmth. There were some very quiet, hidden beach coves along the coast where people rarely venture. A very pleasant day with some interesting areas to visit.

Hiked Ben Ime in the Arrochar Alps today. Pretty difficult climb in the heat with no breeze. The scenery from the top is amazing but I'm pretty tired now!

After last night's hike, I managed to capture the Aurora Borealus from my garden. Absolutely fabulous!
