Clare Marsh - 2 Castles 10k Run

In June, I am running the 2 Castles (a 10k run from Warwick Castle to Kenilworth Castle) to raise money for a cause very close to my heart - Ridgeway School and Nursery.

Ridgeway is a school for children with complex learning difficulties and is a wonderful place that has a huge impact on all of its pupils.

Our gorgeous boy Thomas has attended Ridgeway nursery since September 2013 and the teachers and support staff have had a truly remarkable impact on him! Last year I couldn't imagine a time when Thomas would settle long enough for me to be able to leave Ridgeway's Staff Room! But after many weeks of unbelievable patience, care and skill from the teachers and support staff, Thomas began to settle and now has five very happy mornings a week at nursery. Thomas has developed in so many ways since starting Ridgeway and has flourished due to the caring, sensitive approach his teachers have taken with him.

I am raising money to help the school buy a Tactile Panel (see photo!) for their Sensory Room - a place where all of the children can experience new sounds, textures, colours and lights.
