On 17th May 2025, a group of us will be climbing Mount Snowdon in memory of beautiful baby Alfie—forever loved, never forgotten.
Alfie was my nephew. He was born sleeping on 6th May 2023 and, though he never took a breath in this world, he changed our lives forever. He is the precious little brother to Georgia and Harvey, and last year, he became a big brother himself when Arthur was born. Alfie may not be here in the way we hoped, but his presence is felt in every moment, every memory, and every beat of our hearts.
At his funeral, the words “Alfie does Disney” reminded us of the joy, magic, and love that surrounds his memory. More than anything, we want people to remember just how deeply he is loved.
This climb is our way of honouring Alfie and supporting a cause close to our hearts. We’ve never done anything like this before, but Snowdon felt like a challenge that matched the strength we’ve needed to carry his memory. The date is close to his birthday, which made it feel even more meaningful.
Our team includes me (his aunty), his sister Georgia, his cousin Matthew and his partner Hannah, along with our amazing friend Neal. Together, we’ll walk every step for Alfie, and for the families this charity helps.
We are fundraising for **Lost Little Ones**, a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved parents after the loss of a baby. Every year, many families suffer the heartbreak of baby loss. Lost Little Ones is working to provide these families with the time and space to create memories with their baby that will last a lifetime.
Your donations will help fund the refurbishment of a room and outside space on the labour ward at Leighton Hospital. This space will be used exclusively by bereaved parents—a calm, comfortable, non-clinical environment where they can stay with their baby, sit quietly in the fresh air, and begin to grieve with privacy, dignity, and love.
If you feel moved to sponsor us, please know that your support means the world—not just to us, but to so many families walking this painful path. Whether you donate, share the page, or send your love on the day, thank you for being part of this journey with us.
**For Alfie. Always.**
