My story
Please join us to celebrate the extraordinary life of Colin / Steve / Kate (or whomever you knew him as?!) at an evening of music and song, memories, fun and informal rememberance.
Date: Tuesday 12th March 2024
Venue: The Battersea Barge, Nine Elms Lane, Nine Elms, London SW11 8PZ (Maximum capacity is 200)
Time: 7-11pm
Dress code: Bright
RSVP: Email to Ben Green (email address on donation receipt) and do let us know by no later than March 1st if you would like to perform or say anything on the night.
We are also using the evening to raise money for the charity dearest to Colin’s heart, Purple Field Productions, so invite you to express your interest in attending the evening with a suggested minimum donation of £10 per person via this page. Thank you. x (N.B. Under Gift Aid regulations we are not allowed to say this donation is for a ticket or event, hence it is for Colin's wish).
We look forward to seeing you there to remember our dear friend, colleague, or soulmate.

Quick update to say another wonderful thank you for all the donations and lovely messages you've sent. x
Our special evening on the 12th March is now less than two weeks away, and we've realised that we can't see from your donations page whether you will be there on the night! Oops! Some of you have emailed to confirm you are coming, but if you haven't, please could you just drop us a quick e-mail - benitoverde@icloud.com - to say if you are able to make it (and how you knew Colin). Any fond memories or anecdotes that you wouldn't mind us sharing on the night are welcome. Thank you.
Final call for anyone wanting to perform or do something, or send a quick video tribute, on the 12th is close of play TOMORROW !!
