Crazy Caterpiller Runs, Rolls and Raise for MND

We are joining forces to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association, My Name5 Doddie Foundation, Rob Burrows foundation for Leeds Hospital Charities. 

Our over all aim is to help  raise as much Awareness about the disease as possible and raise money along the way. 6 people  are diagnosed with MND everyday. There is currently no cure of effective treatment. As the NHS financially is on its knees the impact on much needed medical trails and support to those who are affected by MND is huge.

How You Can Help Make a Difference: 

We are doing a 3 month MND Social Media take over. We want to encourage everyone to shout as loud as possible about MND, and share with the hashtag care&share_MND

Starting on April 14th with Team Philapillar running the Manchester Marathon as a 6 man caterpillar hoping to break the Guinness world record for the fastest time as 6 man costume in memory of their much love running friend Phil Rossall. You can find out about Phil’s Story on the link below. We are inviting everyone to come and join us on cheering on Team Phil and the Doddie weir team who are all running to raise money for MND. We have caterpillar antenna and Doddie Weir shirts as well as MNDA shirts.

Over April , May and June we will not only be sharing all funding raising going on across the UK, as well as sharing stories of those living with MND, and the vital support given by organisations like the MNDA. ( motor neurone disease association) 

We will be finishing the take over on 29th June. With a fun, inclusive family orientated fundraiser called Roll and Raise. Starting in Bolton the Roll and Raise team will be travelling on a 41 mile tread to Blackpool. We invite as many people to take part of possible in as much or as little of the route on any form of wheels they want, it can be a bike, electric wheelchair, scooter roller skates etc..  We will be ending the route down the sea front at Blackpool where the Blackpool tower will be lit up in the MNDA colours.
