Martin's Great North Run

I am doing the Great North Run on Sunday September 9th to raise money for The Creative Society.

The charity, which I set up in 2009, helps young people break into the creative industries and campaigns for fair access to this dynamic sector.

We recently merged with Good Story, which supported young creative freelancers and entrepreneurs. The spirit of Good Story is embedded in our Creative Job Studio model.

We are currently seeking funds to launch a Creative Job Studio in the North East to identify and support local talent.

If I break my course PB of 94.10 mins, I will donate £500 to the charity.

• I finished. a combination of heat, injury, lack of fitness and old age meant that I was well off my course PB (1 hr 42 mins). But still delighted to get round and to raise a nice chunk of money for The Creative Society.
