Crewe krazy races

We are two married couples who are also long standing friends, and thought it would be a good laugh to get together and enter Crewe Krazy races! This isn't our first entry however, as two of us entered last year as supporting members of our work company.  This year however, we have decided to enter independently to raise money for Leighton hospital neonatal unit! The reason being is that race day falls on our daughters 17th Birthday (shout out to Miely), who was born 12 weeks prematurely weighing just 1lb 15. She spent her first 10 days in St Mary's Manchester,  and then the next 6 weeks at Leighton to ensure she was closer to home. The work that is done in these units is truly magical,  from not only the support given to the parents, but the 24 hour care given to these babies, which for the most part have a really difficult start in life. We were extremely lucky that because of circumstances and the care given we were able to bring out baby girl home after 7 long weeks. So as parents and godparents to Miely, we want to give back to the unit that cared for her. Now, a little bit about our theme ... 2 best mates at school with a love of cars (the girls came later), lived their boy racer days in a metro and Nova ..  them were the days... until they modded up thinking they were the bees knees! Then the girls came, closely followed by the kids, and then came the family cars (Boooo). They then had to live out their dreams through the eyes of Vin Diesel and Paul Walker (Hubba hubba) in the Fast and Furious saga ... And so our theme was formed! Driving the Orange Supra from the original film franchise, please let me introduce team 'Not Fast, or Furious'!
