Event dates: 29th April 2012 – 28th December 2012

Nambucca is raising money for The East African Missionary Society (TEAMS)

My story

Daniel and Jody are heading to Gulu, Northern Uganda in January 2013 to volunteer with the East African Mission Society (TEAMS: teamsonline.org).

We both have big plans in different areas: Daniel will primarily co-manage the five-acre TEAMS site in Uganda which currently operates a bee project, sewing school project, goat project, microfinance intitiative and adult literacy classes. He is hoping to improve some of these projects and get them to a point where they are self-sufficient.
Jody hopes to work in a government primary school and work closely with the adult literacy classes on the ground. She hopes to improve educational standards for both child and adults.

The purpose of this fundraising drive is to raise enough funds to buy a suitable car for us in Uganda. For the work we are doing (and the roads we will be traversing) having a decent car is very important both in safety and efficiency.

Please help us reach our target!

Dan and Jodes
