Dan's CWB Amazon challenge

12 years on since my first trip and CWB is taking me to South America in March as part of the team visiting the country on our first ever vokunteer project there.

Anyone who has met me in the past few years knows how passionate I am about the work CWB does and I maintain that the decision to sign up back in 2013 was the single best decision I have ever made for myself. It's taken me to three countries, given me friends for life, and helped me to develop in so many ways-most recently by giving me the chance to lead my own team to Rwanda.

CWB works with partners around the world to grow the game of cricket, while using the sport as a platform for health education and social change. When it was first established, the focus was completely on HIV and AIDS prevention but has subsequently branched off to cover a wide array of issues that impact the lives of the children we work with. 

To fund this trip, I need to raise £750 for the charity. To do this, I've set myself an Amazon river themed challenge in January as the river predominantly passes through the country. It is estimated that the river is over 6,400km, with one higher end estimate suggesting it's as long as 7000km. Using the higher figure as my basis, each week in January, I will swim at least 7k. I've already kickstarted this with a 1.4km swim that I'll upload once the page goes live.

Please help me to reach the target and make this trip a reality.
