Dan's Marathon for Dementia Forward

This year, I'm taking on my first ever marathon to raise vital funds for Dementia Forward. On October 19th i will be running the 26.2 miles of  the Yorhsire Marathon.This challenge is deeply personal as I'm running in loving memory of my Nana, Kath. She was diagnosed with early onset dementia in 2003 at the young age of 56 and sadly passed away in 2012. Witnessing the impact of dementia firsthand on Nana Kath and our family has inspired me to support Dementia Forward's crucial work in providing support and information to those affected by this condition.
