Dave's 26 miles of torture...!

As you may be aware (or have heard me whinging and whining about it) I am running the Chester Marathon on Sunday 9th October. Unlike other colleagues previous efforts, I will not be aiming to beat personal goals this is more about survival and ensuring that I drag myself round the full 26 miles without the assistance of St Johns Ambulance, oxygen tanks, defibrillators, etc...

Im running in aid of the Chester Samaritans, a charity which I have worked with for the past few years and who contribute a huge amount to our local community without any government funding. The Chester Samaritans take over 30,000 calls a year and provide a listening service for local people who are distressed, desperate and struggling to cope with life.
