Sky dive for Alzheimer’s Research UK & Dementia UK

Every day, almost 600 people in the UK develop dementia and 1 In 3 people born today will develop dementia in their lifetime. In 2020/21, donations helped to invest £17.3m into dementia research. Each of the projects fund, builds on the understanding of dementia and the diseases that cause it, taking the charity closer to the development of life-changing treatments.

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia, affecting around six in every 10 people with dementia in the UK. With that being said the disease doesn’t just effect the person it effects the family which can sadly also rip a family apart.

The disease has personally touched mine and my family’s life and with your help, by doing something out of my comfort zone, being the skydive, I hope to raise a substantial amount for an amazing charity.
