My story
I’m going to be attempting the London Marathon 2024! It will be more of a plod than a run, but hopefully I’ll make it all the way to the finish line.
I’m raising funds for two charities: Dover smArt Project, a brilliant local charity that I volunteer for, who create arts projects with young carers and dementia sufferers amongst others, and MNDA, Motor Neurone Disease Association, who do amazing work helping victims of this awful disease.
As you may know, I belong to Temple Ewell Players. As a group we sadly lost one of our valued members, Linda, to MND a few years ago. Regretfully, another much loved member, Paul, has now been diagnosed with this terrible disease too. My heart goes out to Paul, Tracy and their family.
Any money you can give, be it small or large, is gratefully received and will make a big difference to the charities.
