Dewsbury & Proud - Charity Dragon Boat Race 2025

This year, Dewsbury & Proud are thrilled to be taking part in the annual Dragon Boat Race at Himley Hall and Park, raising vital funds for Wolverhampton Rotary's Charitable Trust and our chosen charity, Newlife – a truly inspiring organisation making a difference in the lives of disabled and terminally ill children across the UK.

The Dragon Boat Race promises to be an action-packed, fun-filled day, bringing together individuals, charities and companies from across the region, all united by one goal: to raise money for causes that matter. It’s a chance for our staff and their families to come together, get stuck in, cheer each other on, and make a splash for a good cause.

We’re proud to be rowing in support of Newlife, a charity that works tirelessly to offer a lifeline to families across the country. Every day, Newlife provides life-saving and life-changing specialist equipment to children who are disabled or terminally ill – exactly when and where it’s needed. Newlife’s vision is one us at Dewsbury & Proud wholeheartedly stand behind : That every disabled or terminally ill child and their family gets the equipment they depend on, the quality of life they deserve, the caring support they need, and the chance to fulfil their potential.
