My story
I will be running the 2022 London Marathon and supporting Lord's Taverners.
The Lord’s Taverners is a great charity who give opportunities to young disabled people from deprived areas to engage in sport and recreation in their local communities. I have always been an active participant in sports so it’s great to see disabled children getting the opportunities I did as a child.
I started running in 2019 and ran my first half marathon. Since then I have grown to love running through the wonderful support of Manchester Road Runners. My love for running definitely lies in the shorter distances ending with a nice brunch or a pint! Running a marathon will not be easy, but it’s a challenge I am excited to take on.
