Aon Interns Run 10K - ESDAS

In order to support the East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services our team has decided to run 10K in Richmond on the 26th July.

We have chosen this charity because it provides outreach and confidential listening services to anyone affected by domestic violence, an issue much more widespread than one thinks/

The charity helps its clients by giving practical advice on legal positions and on housing options. Along with this it it looks after childrens needs, running a saturday club that allows kids to experience a day of fun removed from the lives they are subject to at home.

Domestic abuse is an issue arising from the misuse of power and control by one person over another. The issue affects men and women of all ages, ethnicities and incomes and is therefore an issue that needs to be addressed. ESDAS is aiming to provide this service, and we are aiming through this run and sponsorship to raise awareness of such a prevalent and important issue.
