Fairhaven Team is raising money for The Fairhaven Garden Trust
My story
Our Boat house was built in the late 1800's and is in urgent need of restoration. We intend to reclaim as much of the timber as possible and use any suitable material to rebuild the boat house as a floating classroom. We will use a local thatcher to re-thatch the roof and also hope to use Norfolk reed. In addition to this we will also board walk the rest of our waterside paths that are currently not suitable for wheelchairs. The class room will be the perfect environment for bird watching and provide facilities for our visiting groups. We are seeking grant funding but we need match funding to help with this.
