Faye’s skin cancer fundraiser

Well where do I start… this amazing charity opened up an opportunity as a Tropic Ambassador to enroll on a course to Educate and detect skin cancer. As a skincare ambassador I thought this would be a huge asset to my business wanting to grow my facials and development my skills. Little did I think this would alert me to my own skin cancer. 
Thank goodness it did, and whilst I’m less than a week after having a Basel cell removed it’s mentally and physically a little harder than expected. I’m so grateful it’s just a BC (the less invasive cancer) though it is unfortunately on my face which I’m struggling with the most. It’s sore, it’s swollen and it’s a scar I’m going to see everyday. I feel terrible talking about it as feel so vain, but it’s me it’s my face and identity that has now changed forever. 
As scars will fade and time will heal 🫶🏻
Scrolling through Facebook the Skcin post caught my attention as always and knew it was my time to give back. Everyone knows I enjoy the gym and being restricted on what you can so after a procedure or injury can be mentally hard. So this is the perfect focus.. I would love as many of you to support this charity and raise awareness for one of the most common types of cancer that can also be prevented.
SPF is a must everyone… x
