Fliss' Great Scottish Swim for Edinburgh Rape Crisis

Hello everyone,

I'll be taking part in the Great Scottish Swim at Loch Lomond on 23 August 2014, hoping to raise some much-needed money for Edinburgh Women's Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (EWRSAC).

EWRSAC offer free and confidential emotional and practical support, information and advocacy to women, girls aged 12 and over, and all members of the transgender community, who have experienced sexual violence from male or female abusers at any time in their lives. The work they do is incredibly important, but 40% of their services are at risk due to funds coming to an end on 31st July. Any money that you can give to help keep this valuable charity afloat would be hugely appreciated.

The race is a 1 mile open water swim and I've never done anything remotely like this before, so please wish me luck! Thank you.
