Ford + Friends Kidney Support Marriot Way 10K Run

Welcome to the Ford and Friends webpage.

Get on your running shoes - its a long way down to the bottom of your pockets!!

This has been set up to raise funds for a charity close to our hearts. As you are no doubt aware Eddie has recently undergone a kidney transplant and now it is our chance to do something to help others in a similar position. After all the support and assitance we have received we wanted to help raise awareness and funds for families and people going through a similar experience and therefore myself, Brother-in-law Simon, Niece Helen and Great Nephew Jack have chosen to support the United Norwich Kidney Patient Association (UNKPA) Charity by running the Marriotts Way 10K.

The Marriott Way 10K takes place Sunday the 10th of October 2010. The run starts at Aylsham Bure Valley Railway and finishes at the old Reepham Station.

The UNKPA is a registered charity which supports patients and carers with financial and emotional support. It organises various events through the year like Christmas parties, days out, Remembrance Day events, and a summer 'Holiday to Holland' for patients and carers.

All the support you have given us over the last few months has been very much appreciated but can we ask you all just to dig into your pockets, no matter how deep they are! and help us once again for a very good cause.
