Four Counties Ring Challenge
Event date: 4th September 2019
Dean King is raising money for Gnosall and District Community First Responder Group
My story
In September 2019, I aim to cover the 110 mile Four Counties Ring, a popular canal boat holiday route, on foot, (towpath obviously!) in three days. Canal boats usually take 7 to 10 days. This means covering 40 miles on days 1 and 2, and 30 miles on day 3. I intend to complete the full distance unsupported, meaning that I will carry all my own kit, food etc. camping en route. This event will start at 0500 Wednesday 4th September, and end at approximately 1800 Friday 6th September. More information can be accessed in The George and Dragon pub in Gnosall. Donations are all to the benefit of Gnosall First Responders and are graciously welcomed.
