Fybro warrior awareness

Event dates: 1st May 2022 – 31st May 2022

Lisa Boxall is raising money for Fibromyalgia Action UK (FMA UK)

My story

After spending months and months in constant pain, feeling exhausted even after a good night's sleep, doing my daily activities and wondering why it hurt so much to even get out of bed I was finally diagnosed with fybromyalgia. To say its changed my life is an understatement, I've had to learn to adapt to a different way of life and accept that I can't do everything as I used to. All that being said, i still get up everyday and and carry on, i may have fybromyalgia but fybromyalgia doesn't define me. There is not enough understanding, recognition and appreciation for people living with fybromyalgia so even if you don't wish to donate please do share my story and raise awareness.
Although it's classed as an invisible illness the pain and effect it has on day to day life is very much real. Please give generously to a cause that needs more awareness 🙏
My aim throughout May (1st to 31st) is to walk 100km, people say that's not much but for someone that lives with constant pain everyday it's an achievement. All donations go straight to FMA UK to help towards more research to help find a possible cure for this crippling chronic illness.
