CWB impacts young lives and communities
Gary Storer is raising money for Cricket Without Boundaries
I'm heading to Rwanda for a two-week charity trip with Cricket Without Boundaries—a brilliant organisation that uses the power of sport to drive education and social change.
Cricket Without Boundaries doesn’t just teach cricket in under-resourced communities—it uses the game as a platform to engage children in vital conversations about health, equality, and human rights. From HIV awareness and vaccinations to issues like modern slavery and refugee support, their work is transformative.
This is my fourth project in Africa with CWB - I first went to Kenya with them in 2016 and I've led two further projects for them since. This trip is entirely self-funded but I need to meet a minimum fundraising target that contributes towards CWB and covers the mountain of kit, clothing, and educational materials we’ll be taking—by the suitcase-load—to Rwanda.
Anything I raise will also contribute to CWBs activity and help pay for their employed staff in country who work with schools all year round.
Every donation helps. The more we raise, the more we can deliver directly to children who need it most. Your support will help us equip, educate, and empower young people through sport, play and education.
Giving is quick, secure, and easy via Give as you Live Donate. They’ll pass your donation straight to Cricket Without Boundaries.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
