Jonathan Freeman is raising money for Caretech Charitable Foundation
As a curtain-raiser for the Great British Care Cycle Relay, I will be riding from Gretna Green to Manchester. 140 miles, 6000 foot of hills, one day! Eek!!
This will be my longest ride ever. And rather more hills than I would have liked! And I'm definitely not getting any younger (or slimmer!)! But I am doing it for two fantastic causes...
Firstly, I will be raising funds for the CareTech Foundation to help them to support more care professionals through their Hardship Fund. The social care sector employs a staggering 1.6million people - more than the NHS - but thanks to chronic Government under-funding, so many of these amazing individuals are struggling to make ends meet and the Foundation's grants make a massive difference.
Secondly, I will also be raising funds for Carers Worldwide which supports unpaid carers in India, Nepal and Bangladesh. I have seen at first-hand the incredible impact of the charity's work in the most difficult of communities, transforming the lives of inspirational individuals caring for their loved ones.
I do hope that you can help me to raise a heap of money to support these brilliant two charities, both of which are very close to me heart.

Thank you,
Jonathan
Please note that donations will be split 50-50 between the two charities. Your donation will go to CareTech Foundation which will then share 50% of the donations (and Gift Aid) with Carers Worldwide. Unfortunately, Give As You Live only allows users to list one charity.)
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Caretech Charitable Foundation.
