Remembering George
Thistles Market Garden Limited are raising money for Thistles Market Garden
Our story
In loving memory of Mr George Scattergood - who enabled Thistles to continue to provide daily purposeful activities in horticulture, for people with a learning disability. He generously provided land for Thistles use, at a peppercorn rent. George and his wife Jessie took a keen interest in the development of the site at Thistles and continuance of the much needed and valued service it provides. Thistles were so pleased when George and Jessie officially opened their new building on 23rd July 2019. George is greatly missed!
