My story
Wow! Who’d have thought I’d be running a Half Marathon? But yet here I am running it on October 13th 2024.
After being in a mobility scooter due to struggling to walk or even stand I decided I needed to move more. You’ve all seen the video of me 14stone heavier doing some steps in the living room.
Then I started running. Running is the opposite of drugs.
Drugs make you feel great in the moment, but awful afterwards.
Running makes you feel awful in the moment but AMAZING afterwards!!
Running is my escape.
I’m running Manchester Half for the Ricky Casey KIDNEY CANCER charity.
