Our story
First organised by Hayes Davidson in 2018, in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, the HD5K charity run in Hyde Park honours the memory of Alan Davidson who founded Hayes Davidson and who was diagnosed with MND in 2012. Alan sadly left us in August 2018 aged 58 and was present at the inaugural run in May 2018.
This year Alan’s family will be out in force both running and supporting the race. His sister, Jane; nephews, Harry and Tom; and many other members of our wonderful family (Lauren, Savannah, Karen, Andy, George, Alfie, Chloe, Fergus, Archie, and Betsy) are running in support of this important cause. Alan’s Great Niece will also be cheering along from her pram!
The MND Association is a cause close to all our hearts and we all thank you for giving what you can in support!
