My story

I am running the HD5k to help raise funds and awareness for the Motor Neurone disease Association on Thursday 15th May 2025.

HD5K was established in memory of Alan Davidson, founder of Hayes Davidson who suffered from Motor Neurone Disease.

Motor Neurone Disease is a brutal, degenerative condition, and fundraising is essential to provide support for those affected and drive forward research. In 2024 alone, the MND Association:

- provided 2,602 support grants
- awarded £2.2 million in grants, and unlocked £3.6 million in benefits
- responded to nearly 9,400 calls through its helpline
- handled 1,037 cases through its Welfare Benefits Service, ensuring people with MND received the support they deserved

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Alan Davidson Foundation and Motor Neurone Disease Association.
