Heather Horler is raising money for Home-Start Elmbridge
My story
Hi, I'm running the Royal Parks Half Marathon to help raise funds for Home-Start Elmbridge. Home-Start is an amazing charity which helps families with children under 5. There are no restrictions on who they help, it's any family who are struggling for any reason with children under 5 years old.
Through Home-Start Elmbridge a family will be supported by one of their specially trained voluteers for 2 hours a week. This help can be anything from assistance to fill out forms, introductions to play groups or just a good chat in the home. Home-Start Elmbridge also offers a counselling service, parental classes and stay & play sessions. They do great work in the community with young children ensuring they get the best possible start.
