Going the Distance - Walking from Macduff to Boston (MA) and back

Organised by Banff Rotary Club are raising money for Friends of Chalmers Hospital
Our story
Helen Barron, a friend to many in Banff and Macduff, recently received a new kidney. The care and support provided by the dialysis unit in Chalmers Hospital went above and beyond expectation. Helen was treated with kindness and exceptional care and it is in honour of this treatment that we are donating 50% of all funds to the dialysis unit in Banff.
The other 50% of donations will be distributed to local causes by the Rotary Club of Banff.
We are doing a sponsored walk - Going the Distance - 3,070 miles (one way) or 6,140 (return journey) - which is the distance from Macduff to Boston where the first successful Kidney transplant was performed.
