Helping the most destitute in Leeds.

This Sunday 7th June, I’ll be taking part in the Deva Centurion - 100K Route in Chester (a Half Ironman distance) to raise money for a charity that I’m proud to serve as a trustee of, Leeds & Moortown Furniture Store.

For over 40 years, this local charity has provided donated and reclaimed furniture to people facing extreme poverty and incredibly difficult circumstances, including those experiencing homelessness and single-parent families seeking emergency accommodation after escaping domestic abuse.
 
Every donation helps us continue supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community by ensuring they have access to essential household furniture when they need it most.
 
£15 gives someone a place to store their clothes with dignity.
£25 provides bedding for a single bed, bringing warmth and comfort to a new home.
£30 provides bedding for a double bed, helping someone settle into a safe place to sleep.
£50 provides a single mattress so that nobody has to spend their first night in a new home sleeping on the floor.
£60 provides a dining table where families can share meals, conversations and precious moments together.
£75 provides a double mattress, giving someone the comfort and security they deserve as they rebuild their life.
