Hearing the unheard

I am taking part in this running challenge to raise awareness and support for autism. My twin boys, are both on the autism spectrum, and this journey has taught me how important it is that every child is seen, understood, and heard.

I know first-hand the challenges they face – the times when they struggle to communicate their feelings, when the world feels overwhelming, or when their needs are not fully recognised. No child should ever feel unheard, invisible, or alone. Through this run, I want to shine a light on autism, share our experiences, and help create a world where every person with autism gets the understanding, respect and opportunities they deserve.

We have been so lucky to have Stepping Stones helping us. They are absolutely amazing – they work so well with children with additional needs, giving them all the therapy and support they need. They are brilliant at helping children understand and manage their emotions, and they do such a wonderful job helping them learn, grow and reach their full potential. They really make such a huge difference.

Maddox and Hudson are my greatest motivation, and running for them is my way of making a difference for all children living with autism. Thank you for your support.
