Danny's marathon

I am running the Manchester marathon in memory of my Dad, whose game was sadly over last summer. To celebrate a man with sporting highlights that include powerwalking up Mt Teide in flip flops and many years sacrificing his fingers for the Dittisham United cause, I am running the Marathon of April 2nd, 2017.

He always gave my brothers and I everything that he had to give and enabled us to grow and live the lives he told us we were capable of.
Sadly, not every child is as lucky. I have seen frst hand the effects of poverty, abuse and neglect on young people and how they are not afforded the basic rights, opportunities and life experiences that all young people.

I am raising money for the Childhood Trust, a charity that literally changes lives every day.
