JIm Bullen is raising money for HOPING FOUNDATION

My story

On the 8th March 2013 the bi-annual Marillion Weekend starts at Port Zelande in the Netherlands. During this weekend they will be supporting The Hoping Foundation.
HOPING stands for Hope and Optimism for Palestinians in the Next Generation. Supporting Palestinian children is a real catalyst for change. Young Palestinian refugees need the simple chances and ordinary possibilities that can offer them creative solutions to their lives. The most important thing we can do is to help generate these possibilities, giving them a belief in the promise of a better future. We want to show young Palestinians that their struggle to transform their lives is encouraged and supported by the people in Britain and throughout the rest of the world.

To raise funds for this worthy cause I intend to Cycle from my Home in Medway, Kent to the event in the Netherlands and then back again afterwards. My trip will go via Dover and cross France, Belgium and into The Netherlands. A round trip of over 500 miles! I will be cycling solo, carrying all my gear with me.
Any donations are obviously gratefully recieved. I intend to keep a diary/blog of my training exploits and will provide a link to that once it is up and running.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto HOPING FOUNDATION.
