Evergreen were recommended to Lauri's family in 2018 as they offered a highly regarded befriending service for older people.  Lauri was a native Finnish and Swedish speaker and his family hoped they could find someone who would be able to speak to him in his native languages.  Amazingly, Evergreen did have a Swedish speaking volunteer, "A".  For the last six years, "A" visited Lauri regularly and gave him the opportunity to share his life stories.  They both really enjoyed each others company.  Lauri's family are very appreciative of A's kindness, patience and commitment. 

Evergreen Care UK  is an award winning charity providing care and friendship to older people in Bexley.  The volunteers provide a range of services but what makes them different are the friendships and relationships they build with each client and family members.
