In Memory of Lionel Bloomfield

Lionel sadly passed away on 12th September this year, rather unexpectedly, in Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He was very grateful to Evergreen for the pleasure they provided him in the form of the Elderberries afternoon tea on Fridays and the Monday meet-up in Wilmington.  

Evergreen also provided him with a Befriender volunteer that brightened every Thursday and he enjoyed watching and sharing sports views with Craig.  This really helped Lionel cope with his isolation and allowed him to have man-to-man chats.

He would like to say thank you to all his friends at Evergreen and would like people to donate to this charity rather than buy flowers for the funeral.
