Senior Section India Trip 2018

In July 2018, 5 members of the Maidenhead Senior Section Unit will be joining other girls from our division on an expedition to India. Our exciting itinerary will take us right into the heart of India and will give us an opportunity to explore its many diverse landscapes, communities and cultures. This trip will include visiting the world guide centre 'Sangam' in Pune, getting involved in a community project, trekking in the Sahyadri mountains and visting Mumbai. This trip will give us a better understanding of life in India, worldwide girlguiding and the wonders of the world around us. We hope our expedition will help us to fulfill our promise as girl guides, which asks us to help others, develop our spiritual side and understand the beliefs of others and be active citizens of the world.
