Issacs end of remission

Isaac, my youngest son, was diagnosed with Acute Lympoblastic Leukaemia back in 2014 when he was 14 years old and had just started year 10 at school. Roll on eight and half years, he has finally been given the all clear and is now out of remission. Isaac has just been amazing throughout, now 23 and manager of a local butchers.
Since 2014 we have supported these 3 charities who have help us as a family but particularly Isaac, walk through this cancer journey. This is my lastest crazy adventure, walking 56km along the Jurassic Coast from Corfe Castle to Weymouth in a day with my trusted companion Ali. Praying for good weather as its mostly along the cliff tops!!
Teenage Cancer Trust, Young Lives vs Cancer and Macmillan continue to support teenagers and young adults every day of the year. Not only with treatment but with all the other things in life that get affected when you receive that diagnosis - whether its the cost of travelling in everyday for treatment, the feeling of isolation, their mental wellbeing, help and support with form filling, help with understanding all the different treatment jargon, or making their stay in hospital more home like.
At a time when the cost of living is so pressured, as a family we are so grateful for any donation, what ever the amount. We have been at recieving end of that support and have been so grateful for it. x
