Jake's Everest Base Camp Trek

In May, I’ll be taking on the challenge of a lifetime - trekking to Everest Base Camp - raising money for an incredible cause: Mahdlo Youth Zone.
Mahdlo is a charity dedicated to giving young people in Oldham somewhere safe and inspiring to go, something positive to do, and someone trusted to talk to. Their work empowers thousands of local young people every year through mentoring, education, sports, the arts, and vital life skills.
This ~130km trek, reaching heights of 5,364m above sea level, is no small feat, but it’s nothing compared to the daily challenges some young people face growing up without the right support.
Every penny raised will go directly to Mahdlo. The trip is entirely self-funded, so your donations will have a direct impact on changing lives.
