Vision 21 (Cyfle Cymru)

Vision 21 Cyfle Cymru is THE South Wales Welsh Charity known for delivering exceptional results in vocational training outcomes for young people with a learning disability. We offer 16 diverse projects that support over 340 student placements each week. The projects encompass Woodwork (2 sites), Catering (4 sites), Horticulture (3 sites), Pottery and Ceramics, Retail, Arts & Crafts, a Community Farm, a vibrant Community Centre, an individualised Training and Mentoring service and Information Technology.

Each of our projects operates as a real work situation i.e. catering projects are cafes, the retail project is a shop, horticulture project is a garden centre ? this ensures that training is realistic to the type of job which students might move on to and maximizes the opportunities to increase confidence and break down social barriers.

Now celebrating 21 years of providing vocational training in ordinary community based social enterprise settings, we have enjoyed great success in terms of positive outcomes for people with a learning disability.
