Jane Earland is raising money for Action Homeless (Leicester)
My story
My name is Jane Earland, and for the past year I have slept in the treehouse at the bottom of my garden. It started off as a challenge to prove to my parents I could sleep out there for a whole year; but it soon turned into a charity fundraiser, and my parents accepted defeat!
Sleeping in the treehouse has given me and insight into what it is like sleeping outside when homeless. For this reason I have chosen to donate all sponsorship money to Action Homeless Leicester, a charity that aims to provide accommodation and support, as well as homelessness prevention.
