My story

Hi, and thanks for visiting this page

On the 12th of May I'm running the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon alongside my pal Ian Flatt. Ian was diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease in March 2019, but despite this he continues to put me to shame with his tireless fundraising efforts for the Leeds Hospital Charity.

Ian receives fantastic care from the specialist MND Team in Leeds, but the new MND unit is badly needed. Please help me to support Ian, the wider MND Community and their families, by sponsoring us for the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon.

Thank you! - Jase (& Ian)

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Leeds Hospitals Charity.

Job done. What a team!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible, and of course to (Sir) Rob Burrow and his awesome family. It was hard and emotional, but am proud and humbled to have been a small part of the MND community and to do my part in raising funds for the new centre. It was great to see so much support for the MND charities from the thousands of people who lined the route.

Finally thank you again to all of you lovely folks who stood alongside me by donating to the Leeds Hospital Charity, your kindness and generosity is very much appreciated.

It's th night before, so no hiding from it now!

A huge thank you to all of you who have kindly donated. It means a lot, as you know this cause is very close to my heart and even closer for Ian and his amazing family.

Will post pics tomorrow from Headingley, or possibly from the A&E dept at Jimmy's..

Training doesn't seem to get any easier! Two weeks to go and I am pretty sure I'm still the slowest runner in Yorkshire!
