My story
From Saturday 13th to Monday 15th September 2025, I’ll be cycling over 300 km through the hilly terrain of Sardinia, all to raise funds for the Obex Foundation, in partnership with the Jason Robinson Foundation.
The Obex Foundation is a local charity based in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. It is committed to reducing inequalities in healthcare by supporting families and young people. Their work focuses on increasing access to healthcare, improving education, and delivering vital preventative programmes. By partnering with schools and communities, they help promote better health awareness and encourage children and young people to take charge of their physical and mental wellbeing.
This is a big challenge for me, particularly as I'm new to cycling and stepping well outside my comfort zone. However, I’ve actually been enjoying the training and I’m doing it to support a cause I truly believe in.
