My story

On Friday 19 September, we will be celebrating Jeans for Genes Day, an annual fundraising campaign for Genetic Disorders UK, the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by a genetic disorder.
Money raised will fund the work of the charity and provide grants to organisations for projects that aim to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders.
Girls are invited to wear denim to school in return for a donation. Last year, we raised around £1,500 and we would love to beat that total this year, especially given that the charity is celebrating its 30th anniversary!
Here is a video from the charity to show how your donations will help children living with genetic conditions.
As part of our celebrations in school, the girls are invited to take part in a special creativity cup challenge where they are invited to REUSE - RECYCLE - RAISE AWARENESS - Please see the poster for more details!

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Jeans for Genes Campaign.
