Edinburgh to Birmingham Cycle Ride for Two Special Charities

Hi All,

Thank you for visiting my page, I'm raising funds for two special charities which are close to my heart by cycling 350 miles from Edinburgh to Birmingham over 4 days.

This event will take place 3rd August to 6th August 2023.

• Day 1: Edinburgh – Newcastle (120 miles)
• Day 2: Newcastle – Leeds (100 miles)
• Day 3: Leeds – Derby (80 miles)
• Day 4: Derby – Birmingham (50 miles)

The two charities I am supporting are detailed below:

Different Strokes

Every year 100,000 people have a stroke and 1 in 4 of these people are under the age of 65. That's 25,000 younger people whose lives are changed in an instant.

Stroke is also the single biggest cause of disability in the UK, but it's not always the visible disabilities that stroke survivors have to contend with, debilitating fatigue, cognitive problems and personality changes can also be a lifelong challenge, preventing them from returning to work or bringing up a young family.

Different Strokes empowers younger survivors to reclaim their lives.

Sikh Helpline

Sikh Helpline help people of all backgrounds with issues around mental and physical health, abuse, alcohol and substance abuse, domestic violence, bullying, racism, hate crimes, relationship issues, and much more! With the cost of living on the increase every single penny is needed towards the service which call enable will help us to be there as a voice of reassurance, comfort and support at the most vulnerable point of a persons life.

The total amount raised will be spilt evenly between both charities.
